Flight Demonstrations
We do flight demonstrations on Saturday. Flying at The Avian Reconditioning
Center in the summer months is limited due to the heat. Demonstrations currently
include flights with a Red-tailed Hawk and a Barn Owl. Please be aware that not
every bird is always available for flight demonstrations and that high winds will limit
demonstrations. Heat also influences flight and performance.

Zip
We recently lost zip in an off site
presentation. We had high hopes he would
return to the sight but after several weeks of
checking we have had no luck. We will miss
Zip and all his comic flight demonstrations at
ARC.
  CALLIE
Callie is an American Kestrel.
She is in training and can do
flight demos inside.
HOME
                     Cora
Cora is a Peregrine Falcon. We do not fly Cora
in the hot summer months but she is on display
most Saturdays. Look for her to fly in the fall.

       ZIP
Henry our Barn Owl is now doing limited flight demos on
Saturdays at ARC
. We give demonstrations using a creance line
which helps us to explain some of the  techniques we use.
