One of our main focuses is the physical reconditioning of raptors that have been inactive for an extended period of time while recovering from illness or injury.
The Avian Reconditioning Center is dedicated to raptor rehabilitation, education and research, thereby increasing public awareness, knowledge and appreciation of Florida’s magnificent raptors and the natural habitats in which they live.
We are open to the public on Saturdays and we invite you to stop by for an “up close and personal” encounter with our resident eagles, hawks, falcons, kites and owls.
