Migratory Bird Day will be Saturday, May 19th, to celebrate and bring attention to one of the most important and spectacular events - bird migration.
We will be featuring the Swallow-tailed Kite - this species makes a spectacular 3,000+ mile migratory journey to Brazil and back every year. We invite you to bring your kites and fly them during this celebration – we always seem to have plenty of wind blowing here at ARC!American Eagle Day will be Saturday, June 16! Meet ARC’s resident Bald Eagles and learn all about them. American Eagle Day serves as an opportunity for Americans to celebrate the Bald Eagle and the remarkable recovery of this beautiful species.
There will be kids’ crafts and activities and refreshments at both events. Admission is free, but donations are always gratefully accepted. Join us for a fun-filled day of family fun and learn fascinating facts about raptors.
