Saturdays at ARC

Hours:

We are open to the public on Saturdays:

Fall - Spring: 10am – 4pm

Summer: 10am - 3pm

Please note: We are closed for the month of August.

Schedule:

Bird Pavillion: 10am - 2:30pm

Free Flight: 3pm - Close

We display our education birds under the pavillion every Saturday from 10am until 3pm (10am-2pm in the summer). After we get them safely put away we usually free fly the Harris' Hawks during the last hour of the day.

We also fly various birds during the day, including a Red Shouldered Hawk, Barbary Falcon, Peregrine Falcon, and Barn Owl. Our falcons fly early in the morning fall through spring, before it gets too hot, and never in the summer.

We often have off-site programs on Saturdays, and some of our birds may be visiting other facilities, so please call or email if you have a favorite raptor you hope to see!
